We would like a feature that adds the ability to automatically track time against the project within SI. A timer that automatically starts when the project editor/Visio is opened and can be paused etc.

This function should be selectable by user as not all users of SI would require it.
This would be excellent for tracking time with project designers and engineers, and the option to split the time between project statuses would be advantageous so that pre-sales design can be separately calculated.
Once a project is accepted and opened for editing, a prompt can automatically pop up to ask if the user would like to apply the time to a new/existing CO or subtract from the calculated design time of the accepted project when developing drawings.
If two or more project editors are opened at one time, SI can prompt you to make a project inactive and pause time or continue tracking time for both when changes are made in the other project editor.

DT team, this seems pretty popular, what is the chance you can get this into v22?

Add yet another metric that my boss can micromanage me by?!? Nah, I'm good! Plus, if you gotta decrease the timer by 30 mins because you were conversing with Chuck from Accounting over at the watercooler and left the meter running, then what's the point of having it in the first place?

This would so helpful!

And ability for Admins to be able to manually edit, with tracking to show edit. Many times while in Visio it is opened and you are pulled away - you may not be able to or remember to check pause - so the ability to adjust time when you get back. "Well, that quick question took longer than expected! <edit time: decrease 30 minutes>"

Recommend approval as this provides Managers a tool to track the amount of time involved on each Project, over time the Project time should indicate a reduction of resources to validate Project Management is working (ROI).
