Status Cycle of Projects
Alison Richards
It would be nice to see the date ranges through status changes. We already know when project was created, awarded, when it starts and when it ends. The in between after creation and prior to awarding is not factored in. The project can go to many different departments/processes such as Engineering, Revision, Review etc. Being able to log and track these dates from change in status is key for time/turn around. It provides data that shine light on efficiencies and inefficiencies.

From Developer:
This is “somewhat” available under project history, although not very easy to see. I am currently out of the country, so let me ping Seth when I get back on that. I like the idea of a better view of the project history and I think that can accomplish what you are looking for.
User Response:
Correct it is, this is how we currently do the research to look for one project in the history and drilling down to find. Yes to visibility, however, for reporting purposes across multi-projects a big focus of aging.
Similar to what Salesforce have with opportunity history. So D-Tools own can be Status History and analyze how long a status stay within an Opportunity.
