We have products in our catalog that require a quote from a manufacturer (like lecterns or custom hardware/wall plates/etc) before they can be ordered. There's no way to know the exact price since it can vary wildly with features desired.

It would be useful to have a catalog item on the Price Tab to be able to be flagged as requiring a quote - and then the pricing fields remain grayed-out.

When the part is added to a project, the user is prompted for the quoted cost price, sell price (margin/markup), with required fields of Quote Number and Date. It might be nice to be able to put the Quote Expiration date as well.
